Hello all my name is Joey I'm from St Pete Florida. I was recently given a 52" federal signal aerodynic light bar. Which is what brought me to this site. I've only been a member for a day now and I've already been helped and learned a ton about the way these things work. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers any questions I may have in the future. Looking forward to scrolling through the threads to see what everyone else out there has. Thanks again.

I will never understand why people paint the lenses of lightbars. especially all of them except the work lights. If you cant even have an amber lightbar on your vehicle theres better ways of getting a couple work lights than putting a whole warning bar on it.

That said, the insides look pretty nice, and you can find a nice set of domes for it here im certain. The Aerodynic was a popular bar in use and is a popular bar to collect still today. Welcome to the site, and good luck with the project!

They we're painted when I received them. My plan is to put all clear domes on with colored bulbs if I can find ones that match the bulbs in it now. The bar is going to go on top of my 95 Tahoe and used during shows.

YOu wont find (or if you do they wont be worth a damn) colored bulbs, you will need rotator filters (which you can also find here!)

Thats pretty cool. Now as for the other lights. It has four 1157 automotive bulbs and it has two GE 1195. I know the 1195 is the forward facing spotlight. But could I replace the 1157 with a colored 1157 an ad it work OK. Being that these just flash on and off?

Interesting that the New-Tech filters for Lightstorms/Lightforces/Stealths/MiniStealths gets used to make this point, but it does clearly show the options.

LOL, just the first picture I found in my files that represented it well enough.
