Does anyone know if the main wiring harness for the "brain" for the vision and the ss2000ss is the same? I have a vision currently installed but don't have the lightbar and would like to swap out that siren for the standard ss2000ss. Will it be as simple as just disconnecting the main wire harness from the vision and inserting into the ss2000ss and swapping the keypads?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Should be the same.

You can search google for install manuals to verify but I'm 99% sure they're interchangeable.

According to the instruction manual I found for the Smart Siren Vision they should be interchangeable. The instructions are for swapping the controllers are for going from an SS2000 series to a Vision controller though, which only requires a fuse switch. However you might have to run a new power wire to swap a Vision with an SS2000. I'm not sure what gauge the power wire is on the Vision harness but it only was required to be fused at 2 Amps. The SS2000's needed to be fused at 20 Amps. So I'm not sure if they used the same power wire gauge for both controllers. If the wire gauge is big enough then you should just need to switch from a 2 Amp to a 20 Amp fuse, providing where it's getting power from is capable of handling the extra current. If it's not they you will have to run a new power wire, fused at 20 Amps, to the controller to handle the extra current.
