Valley Fire week of mutual aid

This week my department responded to 3 different mutual aid calls, 2 of which to agencies we have never respnded to before. First we responded with a med unit and engine to an mva in Cuyahoga Falls. Second was a CO poisoning in Stow with 25 patients. Lastly was a 40 acre brush fire in Bedford.


Here is the response video to Bedford of our Brush truck following our chase car. I know not the best video, but it showed the truck pretty good a few times.

Here are some more pictures from the brush fire. Lets just say the senior member of the ATV group was driving and managed to get the ATV buried. At this time there will be no finger pointing though.

Thanks for posting. It looks like you need a hovercraft not an ATV.

We had just been through that spot aprox. 15 minutes earlier and it was fine. At this point we were just checking the fire line for hot spots. All the other units were going back to the staging area, we were just doing a last pass. We tried for about half hour to free ourselves before we hung our heads and called for help.

The Falls, Stow, Beford... All within a half hour of me. Never heard about any of those incidents. Dang local news.

I feel bad for new Explorer that had a run in with the semi... I have one and hope that doesn't happen to me.

Falls accident was on Tuesday morning. Other 2 were on Thursday. All 3 made all the news channels.

I feel bad for new Explorer that had a run in with the semi... I have one and hope that doesn't happen to me.

My wife drives a 2013 Explorer, kind of scary the amount of damage done.
