Vector Smart Pods not working

So I have a Smart vector. It was working fine, all the pods were able to be controlled by connecting to power, but now the smart pods don’t do anything. Powering the +12v ground cable (black/white) makes the pods go in random directions (when you touch the reflector it is stiff), and the red/white, gray, and blue cables do not do anything.

What could be the problem? And are there any fixes? Please help. Thanks

1st step is to make sure it is wired correctly. "+12v ground cable" does not make sense.

If you have the bar properly grounded, apply 12-14 volts to the black wire with white trace. They should then rotate enough to get their location and stop facing forward. If they do not do this, then they can't function properly. If they initially just rotate a bit and stop in random places then it is not getting or processing the location input for some reason.
