whelen justice questions

I just bought a whelen justice JY8bbrr off the bay and i think i have to have a we can module, though im not sure. Do I? If so, what will it take to get this think working, the cable is about 12 inches long so it would have to be extended. Do we can bars have to have the module to work? This is all new to me, ive never played with these before. Any help or advise is appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Whelen products but looking on their website, yes you will need a WeCan module. JY8 is a WeCan series.
