Hello, recently I drove through a small body of water and slightly submerged my speaker (Carson 100w), about 2 days later I hit my airhorn and the fuse blows and a whole mess of problems occur after and after working flawlessly for 3 years, is it possible the speaker got shorted out somehow 2 days later and messed up my PAP112, or is that not possible and it's definitely the pap unit that freaked out and stopped working ? Thanks.

Most speakers are designed to deal with some water from time to time. Obviously completely submerging all the time isn't good, but a partial submersion shouldn't have hurt it too bad. Have you checked all the wiring connections to make sure they're all still good?

Usually, all it takes to kill an amplifiers output is a good quick short across the speaker voice coil. Modern speakers are a lot better at protecting against this kind of short from water intrusion, and the modern amplifiers are better protected from it as well, but they are not perfect..... That's probably what happened to your setup.
