White wires on ledx circuit boards

Okay this is a new one for, so im gonna ask it.........is there any special purpose on the white wires on the circuit boards for the ledx and 6up optix??

I know the red and black is power and ground, but what the heck is the purpose of the white wires?? They have male and female connectors on them, and are the opposite side of the red and black

One of the white wires should be grey. The instruction manual, found on their website, site says the white wire is to change the flash patterns and the grey wire is to sync the light heads together.

The white wire on lightbar modules is dim function. You can daisy-chain them together.
