Well my xexutor 2 amp is not functioning. Anyone have any suggestions where I cab get it repaired?

IIRC whelen will destroy them if you send them in for repair, due to losing the lawsuit from federal signal...

Nope, I have an X2 that was factory repaired.. Its a flat fee of one something..been a cpl years now.. i contacted Whelen repair prior to sending it in, to be sure they wouldn't destroy it.. they will give you a repair # to affix to your package.... good luck listed....
just remembered, that after i got it back from Whelen repair, and reinstalling it on the Engine,that it didn't work!!! i called tech support, that got me a tech on the line...turns out if you remove the four screws from the outer case, and carefully separate the case, there is a 10 amp fuse inside in addition to the one you can replace without breaking apart the case... that was the culprit for it not working the second time from them,,, i would verify both fuses are good before sending it in for service.... again.. good luck

Confirming Whelen repair still fixes the Xecutors. I sent two amps in a little less than a year ago, both were gone over, new cabling made, and sent back in working order.

It is a flat fee Unlisted... I can confirm exact cost tomo, but they go by a list,.. Remote siren amp is $169.??.. Definitely less than two hun,... But it's tested out and anything weak is replaced.. They warranty the work for 30 days or something, but supposedly they go right thru em.. I was in contact with them more than normal as mine was inop upon return from them!! .. This is where my info/opinion is borne.. I say do it!.. Skip a coffee every week for x yrs if ya hafta.. Could always be a "winter gift" to yourself... Will grab a vid tomo of the x2 on one speaker tomo..as well as confirm the price which is slightly outdated....

My last siren am repair was $179 I think, worth it for that siren. As stated above, double check for multiple fuses.
So I finally sent it into Whelen- costing me $200 but they are fixing it!
My guess is that now it's 'out of warranty' and they won't do a free repair on these any more. Glad I got mine done when I did!
