2017 Ford PIU USB

"Radio" question of a different kind...Is there an easy way to add the USB input to the base AM/FM unit in the new PIU? Ours weren't ordered with them... :(

Don't quote me on it, but I swear I read on another forum that all of the radios have it even when not installed in the console. IIRC you just need to pull the radio and connect the cable to it and mount a connector where you want it. I will try and find the forum that discussed it if I get time tonight.

You are correct, but it's the Aux input you're thinking of, not the USB input. USB only works with Sync, and if the vehicle came with Sync it will have the USB port already.
