The 358 was actually a rebadged Dietz 246. They were modeled after the Federal Vitalite Model 121, which came out in 1962. Dietz marketed a rebadged Vitalite 121 as Dietz Model 245M. Dietz then made their own version using the reshaped dome and a couple of variations of internals, Model 246M. One of the internal variations was virtually identical to the Vitalite's internals. So, Federal 121 in 1962, then Dietz 245, then Dietz 246, then Yankee 358 in the timeline.
