Wiring Issue

Hello!

Here is the problem:

In our ambulance, when activating the turn signal or depressing the brake, we experience intermittent issues. This is a collection of the back up alarm activating, rear load lights flashing, and the turn signal brake area is does some random light show. Also, the cruse control will deactivate, and or the vehicle may idle up (best way to describe it).

In the interim, I have disconnected the rear load light from the solenoid and disconnected the back up alarm. While this has not resolved the problem, it dampens the effects.

No recent updates or maintenance have occurred to my knowledge. Could this be a ground issue?

Let me know if you need photos...

When separate circuits interact, it's almost certainly a ground problem. The fix might be as easy as tightening connections in the electric cabinet, or it might require more extensive tracing. Start by pulling the BTT lights and checking whether they're grounded to the body, to a common bus, or to thin air.

Thanks Mtnman. I’ll keep you posted.
