Hello firebuff17, yes, I love these traditional US-Fire Helmets. They are so much traditional!!!! Since I was a child I love this helmets. I have only see this helmets in movies or in the news in television. In my vacations in Florida and California in the middle of the 90ies I have seen this helmets in life!! and I have get some normal helmets and one traditional from San Diego by visit Fire Stations. in 2018 I decided to collect fire helmets from the FDNY. But this was not easy. FDNY-Helmets are very rare and expensive. So the white helmets are not original FDNY, buth the fronts are made by the leather-front-maker of the FDNY. The "Ladder 31", the "Prob" are original FDNY. The "Rescue 5" and the "Captain" is only original the leather front, the helmet is not original FDNY, but the same type/model.

Hello NPS Ranger. Thank you very much. Yes, a long travel from the USA to Europe... across the Atlantic Ocean. The costs for customs / taxes are very annoying.
I see a lightbar or beacon on eBay: "A good price!!!" The shipping costs: "Ui, shit!!!!!!" And then comes the customs / taxes!!!!!! Oh noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Hello Stampeed Valkyrie, thank you very much for the compliment. I have seen a lot of your videos on YouTube. You have a great collection of Lightbars!!!!!!!!!!! For me was interested your video with the Twinsonic 12 F /FDNY. In this Video I have seen what is inside this Lightbar to rebuild / restorate my FDNY-Twinsonic 12 F. I have get my Twinsonic 12 F with one red and one clear dome. Two blue and two clear flasher-lenses. The Lightbar I have buy by a German US-Police-Car-Dealer, not far away from my home, in Berlin. He says to me that he has a Twinsonic with flashers and asked me, if I interested for this Lightbar. SURE!!! YES!!!!! This was a very rare 12 F , like used by the FDNY. Since nearly two years I have looking for this type of Lightbar. By eBay I have found one clear dome, two round lenses from Signal Stat in red and two round lenses from Dietz in amber, to cut out the rectangular lenses for the flashers. I know, the original lenses they are cut out by Federal Signal for the flasher-lenses are lenses from Dietz in red, red flashers for the front and rear in all FDNY-Twinsonics. Amber in the rear (and red lenses for the front) was used by the NYPD, right? Ok, so I have a NYPD-Twinsonic?
You restore a Aerodynic, wich was used on the roof of the FDNY -Command (Chiefs) vehicles? This is a very very nice Lightbar… and I have no one of these in my collection.

Yes, you're right. It's very hard to get this type of a TwinSonic (12 F). I got this from a US car dealer in Germany (Berlin). What a coincidence!!!!!
