Sapulpa, ok
Has anyone tried to make a CTS red dome? I have an extra red dome and a trashed CTS dome. I didn’t know if anyone has tried to pull this off. My other option is trying to put NOS clear domes on it if I can find amber and yellow bulbs. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I built a CA driver's side Blue dome, back in the 80's. I took a couple of old broken lenses FS TwinSonic's cut the red and amber out, then using a template cut the blue lens where the red & amber was to go. By doing it that way I had the exact curvature of the lens. I still have that lens today but only as a storage bin. I ran that on my cars until we got rid of the Twinsonics

I still have this one I got from a distributor that went out of business in Nor-Cal, I found it out of the box on their shelf.

I made this one in 1983 CA-outert blue lens with red insert, with amber rear. Looked darn cool if I do say so myself. Now just a bolt and nut bin

I believe Ryan did them like 10 years ago, along with split beacon ray domes, but quit due to equipment failure. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he did.

It was labor intensive, expensive and ended up looking great. The member(s) here that did them have stopped. I do glue (fuse more accurately) Whelen edge and advantedge lenses, but that is hardly difficult.
