Is that just a lollipop light?

Sigh…So many things about this photo regarding the by-gone era: Fender mounted Unity spotlight with 18-20”+ shaft that extended through the dashboard (how many possible obstructions, and required an equally long drill bit); “air conditioned” squad car (white roof—yes the origins of the ‘black & white’ cop car paint schemes); simple lettering on door proclaiming “PO-PO”…not to mention the late 50’s Evinrude outboard motor on the “plain Jane” fiberglass (plastic) boat—can’t be a Cris Craft or Thompson. What? No fins?

Despite the elaborate front bumper guards, there’s a battered front license plate…would like to know the location of the photo for more clues…something Co. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Equipment in the background.

Thanks for sharing @NPS Ranger!

It is a 1957 Ford Mainline towing the Milwaukee Police Department patrol boat.
