What type of center console did the LAPD use in 2002? And did marked units and unmarked use the same console?
I'm trying to get information about a (pre-)2002 Crown Vic unmarked unit.

As far as I know, most of not all unmarked Crown Victorias were very simple and did not have consoles. This is how a 2002 would have been set up inside.459448A3-97D6-42A7-9A9F-30856D5C6E86.jpeg

That is actually a poignant question. Since it's a Motorola palm mic, it's almost certainly connected what looks like a Motorola Saber Convertacom there. However, since it's a Unitrol Omega 9000 siren control head, it may double as a PA mic using a Unitrol series LM adapter.

The Astro Vehicular Adapter was often mounted inside the dash radio cavity, and that's probably a common-mic setup for the AVA and PA
