So I wasn't really sure where to stick this since the 212 series beacon is still produced. I decided since this was made in 1993 and it's new in box that vintage would be proper. I've had this sitting in it's original package for a bit and decided to finally get around to changing out the power cord on it. This is a military spec beacon which came with a two pin twist lock power cord about two feet long. The beacon is factory 12 volt, not 24 volt. I haven't come across many mil spec beacons that were factory mag mounts( one large magnet) and 12 volt. I swapped the factory power cord out with a used coiled cord I had from a different project to make the beacon easier to display/use. Just something alittle different as far as mil spec and the price was right on it. See the attached pics including the label on the box.
