    Cheetah EEC LB7AD lightbar

This thing is stunning. I've always known about Cheetah brand lights. But I've never seen this model in my life. I would almost suspect that it's a frankenbar. But it is way to neat and clean to not be a production model. This was WaY ahead of it's time. Being an all-light lightbar, the use of...

    Fed Sig & Whelen Purple/Violet/Magenta

The $45 price listed in 1956 is seriously expensive. That translates to $450 in 2021 dollars.

Need help - Dietz Omni-Chief Lightbar.

Somewhere in one of these threads on the Dietz Omni-Chief I remember seeing someone mention that surgical-grade tubing makes a good substitute for those belts.

    MI Law Enforcement

They do still run all-red, forward-facing lights on the push-bumpers. Not sure if this throwback graphics scheme is temporary or not. They were brought in with the intention of celebrating the agency's bicentennial. But the public response to this look is been tremendous. Maybe they'll keep...

Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

That's a contender for most the rebadged beacon ever. I think they are all made by North American Signal. But I've seen them rebadged by many companies. Yankee comes to mind. On a sidenote North American still makes these...

Emergency lighting from the KD's 1988 catalog.

    Vintage Catalogs:Yankee

1971 Yankee Catalog. Looks like emergency lighting was something they were just getting into. Didn't even have the 1166 teardrop lights yet. Most of this edition of their catalog was side-view mirrors.

Looking For 1975-1985 Catalogs: Yankee, Warn, Peterson, Tripp Lite, Arrow, North American

The real focus is on 1975-1985 Yankee, Warn and Tripp Lite.

Looking For 1975-1985 Catalogs: Yankee, Warn, Peterson, Tripp Lite, Arrow, North American

I sure appreciate the offer. But I'm really focused on that 1975-1985 timeframe. Did you do any scanning of the rest of your collection before it all got sold off?

Looking For 1975-1985 Catalogs: Yankee, Warn, Peterson, Tripp Lite, Arrow, North American

I've picked those apart pretty well over the last few years. And even where there are matches the images are either really low resolution and/or there are missing pages.

Looking For 1975-1985 Catalogs: Yankee, Warn, Peterson, Tripp Lite, Arrow, North American

Anyone have leads on catalogs for these manufacturers? I'd even help get them scanned if interested.

Tulsa Fire, Engine 17 (cool flash pattern!)

I'm surprised to have not seen a flash pattern like this before. Maybe it's only possible on a bar that wide. I dislike the blending of colors on the bar and on the individual light-heads. Love red/blue. Just not the intermingling of the two colors so close together.

Memphis TN Police Cars Over the Years

More throwback MPD graphics mockups. 70s and 80s looks on a 2019 Dodge Charger.

    So FHP finally ditched Code3...

Hi, John. Where in Mississippi is your agency? Pontotoc Sheriff.. Police? I'd love to see some Mississippi patrol cars with red/blue lights.

    The Trail-Brite 7-07 Unboxing

Wasn't this listed by most of its rebadged sellers as an "1166?"

    MI Law Enforcement

Oakland County Sheriff now sporting throwback graphics for their bicentennial. Similar to Macomb County's. I would love to see them make this permanent. On a side note I had the honor of helping them with these graphics. But the sheriff himself wanted an opposite color scheme from what they had...

Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

I'm becoming more interested and amused by cartoon and digitally animated emergency vehicles and lights. This is from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

It is Harmon. The other guy is John Bennett Perry, father of Matthew Perry of "Friends" fame (or notoriety for those of us who hate that show).

Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

There were only 16 episodes. I don't even know if it exists on DVD. Damn sure isn't out there with any on-demand, streaming services. But there are some low resolution bits and pieces on YouTube. That Bronco was the coolest part of the show. Joanna Cassidy was the hottest thing on that show.
