Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

Nothing But Trouble 1991 Vintage and modern (then) lightbars to enjoy in scenes. A carload of NY yuppies detour in a small broken down part of PA where the local version of justice has no tolerance and a bone stripper. An obscure comedy with many big names, some in dual roles.

He is as much as a danger to himself as he is to others. He must have a lot of turnover in his company too.

They ruin it for everyone. I prescribe them GTA. Be a cop, kill hookers, steal cars, blow up just about everything that moves with a rocket launcher. Just dont bring it on the street! Why cant people just be a good witness and call it in and get on with life. Mental health is in the toilet more...

Unmarked Police Cars on TV and their Dashlights

I did that with my mini bar in PA. Never had an issue barring ice build up.

Unmarked Police Cars on TV and their Dashlights

Yeah but it is still funny. Sledge Hammer was a cheesy cop sitcom in the 80s and didn't try to be anything more than that. Made the network issue a lot of apologies though. A wonderful blend of Dirty Harry and Inspector Clouseau.

You never know when something like this will happen so keep a few.

2013 Ford Explorer - Amber Outfit

Clean appearance. Not overly done that it is a distraction. I would add some grill lights like you mentioned or visor lights. Maybe something in the front quarter panel area as well.

A seemingly good Street Hawk strapped up there. Even if the method was not in question, the results still are. Tow trucks out here are getting a bit "unprofessional" in appearance. I wonder how well it even works.

Unmanned '67 Chevelle causes crash on I5 in Washington

The video is 302MB. Here are some stills from it. He was arrested minutes later. Still have not gone to court yet. I only know that the other car was worse off than me with injuries and damage. I replaced a side mirror, front door, back window, and had to skin graph the quarter panel a bit. Add...

Cool addition to any collection regardless. I do not recall anyone having one.

Unmanned '67 Chevelle causes crash on I5 in Washington

My civilian Impala and another car were totaled by a Chevelle a few years ago by an unconscious extreme DUI. It may as well of been unmanned. My car is fixed up and on the road, doubt his is. I got it on dashcam too.

Tokyo POTUS Motorcade = Interesting Lighting

Go go Gadget lightbar. I actually thought about that for my car only not a single rotator. It would have had to be a thin LED. Never got past wishful thinking. That and the large amount of space it would have taken where the cage is plus a lot of cutting up the roof.

Uncommon catch. Rochester, MN FD - Maintenance 1

Agreed. Maybe re-purposed or extra? Possibly some extra graphics? Maybe that is just how the maintenance division rolls in style. Got some small LEDs on it, I wonder what color.

    Off duty vehicle insurance

I am not in TX but I just called my insurance company and explained what I was using it for and after about 20+ minutes and 3 or 4 transfers it was all good since it is only a few times a month. They even gave more coverage for all the additions to it (equipment) at no cost. This is an extra...

I wake up and see this today

There were apparently 2 guys scoping out my unmarked parked under my carport a couple of months ago. I was told my dog was trying to bust through my gate to get to them when it was let out. They fled in terror. I was not home at the time. Finally got household approval for cameras I have wanted...

I wake up and see this today

CLIFF NOTES: A guy shoots his girlfriend and her daughter then flees to hide the gun and tells PD that a homeless guy broke in and shot them. Story didn't hold up long. He got lippy in the hearing too.

Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

Super Mario Bros. 1993 Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Bob Hoskins) and Luigi (John Leguizamo) rescue Princess Daisy from King Koopa (Dennis Hopper) and the Goombas in a dinosaur world. This has some interesting apocalyptic looking vehicles especially police cars.

Movies & Television: Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

Car 54 1994 The car may not be consistent but it is a cheesy and funny movie. In New York City, two cops, Gunther Toody (David Johansen) and Francis Muldoon (John C. McGinley), are tasked with guarding Herbert Hortz (Jeremy Piven). A witness who's due to testify in an organized crime case...
