The 1988 is a lighter shade of blue. The 1980s went through several lighter shades and they darkened it up in the 90s.

I have heard many times that CHP has been mentioned for having produced a study regarding emergency lights. Where would I find that information? I would like to read about it. Thanks

Does anyone have the actual gear numbers for the LAPD all light aerodynic?

Update: I put the LAPD car on hold and restored the car as a Houston pd car. I’m still waiting (going on 2 years) for M-Squad to make my LAPD decals. I suspect I have been scammed by him. Do Not Purchase from M-Squad.

Update: Won this Caprice at a California Auction and had it shipped to Texas. So one day this will be an LAPD build. This particular car was used by City of Pasadena, California.

I am about to kick off my LAPD 9C1 build. I took my Aerodynic out of storage. It's a model 25 all light LAPD Aerodynic. The lenses are new (reportedly from previous owner). They do look crisp and clean. I noted some of the panels have wiggled loose. They pop back into place easy enough, but...

$400 seems a bit high with no domes. Best I can offer is $275. It's gonna cost close to $300 to get new domes.

Where are you located and what condition are the lenses in? I don't see a photo with the lenses.

The 9C1 was out for repairs. The only one they had was the DARE Impala.
