first part I have a set of whelen LED's wire set up is White/blue/grey and white with purple strip . what are these wires for 2nd part I have a set of rubber housings . I assume the white is ground because it is attatched to a metal plate located inside the housing , am I correct ?

My new plug came for my LP6100 today, But I think its a little small in the gauge dept. this is an older style mini bar, but the cord they sent is an 18 gauge w/plug. Im thinking this is way to small for running this bar
