    Visibar build question

I would like to mount federal LL4 lollipops to a visibar. This is not a model 11. No chain drive. Just a blank visibar that had a 14 on each end. I've seen old pictures of this, but cant really tell how it was done or if they're even LL4s. I don't know if federal would do this as a factory...

Was it possible to order a code 3 SD without the speaker housing? I found one and i thought it was just missing, but the more i examine it, the more it looks factory.

    For Sale Force 4 XL

That looks like a Boston Massachusetts PD lightbar. Pretty rare. Especially in your neck of the woods I would think. You should post this in the vintage section and let the experts look at it.

Yes, an NA crossbar would work, but it wouldn't be correct. I actually have an NA crossbar already.

    dietz spotlight

Picked this dietz spotlight up yesterday. Are these a sought after item? It's not normally something i would go for, but i don't usually see them not attached to a truck. Haven't tested, not sure if it is 6 volt.

    Strange code 3 XL

The plot thickens. I've done some googling on it. Didn't come up with much. I will google Indiana agencies.

    Strange code 3 XL

I'll have to clean the lens, but i do believe that the cutout is clear. I think it's just yellowed from age and dirt. I think that is why the stingray on that side has the red filter.

    Strange code 3 XL

Stingrays. I was not sure what exactly they were called. I have not tackled this bar yet, but i will definitely clean the contacts per your suggestions along with everything else. I need to get them all opened up and see which on to start with.

    Strange code 3 XL

Well it's a couple years later, but here's a video. I've picked up 3 more of these lightbars so now i have 4 total. They are all in varying condition. None of them have steady red to the front, and don't appear to have been modified. That makes me think Cal-spec is a no-go. The select alert...

    Who wants to guess??

Light hunting is not as easy as it seems. I took a wasp sting to the cheek for a beaconray this weekend. The things we do for these silly lights.

the motor is gone out of it as well as the screws that hold the back housing on, but a rotoray is a very rare find for this area. No local departments would be able spring for it.

    Strange code 3 XL

The inner rotators are select alert. They oscillate to the rear, they rotate 360, and they oscillate to the front real fast. They to not provide takedown, or at least i cant get them to. The rear facing amber stinger is on a wire all by itself. The par 36s are flashers only and also do not...
