    FedSig “FSJoin”

So, browsing the new ‘21 FedSig catalog I noted “FSJOIN” as coming in March for the Valor. The description of “FSJOIN” lists it as “a programming capability feature of FedSig’s light bars and exterior/internal warning lights that works in conjunction with Pathfinder”. Is this in simple terms...

    3/29 Live PD

I was actually tempted to start a thread critiquing the setups seen... good call lol. As for OHP, front cut off and the Moose Lights have become quite a statewide thing.

    So FHP finally ditched Code3...

It amazes me how CHP survives with such simplistic setups! Yes, sarcasm. For an agency with the financial issues it has with respect to their employees, I can’t see how they needed this much. The new lightbar itself is an improvement I will absolutely agree.

Connecticut State Police 2013 Ford Interceptor Sedan

I wouldn’t work at an agency without take homes. We get so much more life out of the cars we have with them not being run into the ground shift after shift.

Your used AWD choice: Ford P.I. or Dodge Charger

I’d trade in my Charger for a Klondike Bar. Hate the car. If take the Ford, preferably Utility in a heartbeat.

Good to see Mexico does not have a shortage of lights and sirens.

The first thing I can only assume, Mexico's "national lighting standards" were written by the lead installer on Ecto-1. Second, so grateful for the silence of our processions here in the states.

2016 Pierce Quantum PUC Rescue Pumper

Red and blue are basically being given away here now. Wreckers are not classified as emergency vehicles, statute was simply amended to allow red and blue when stationary. Construction and utilities are also allowed red and blue to the rear when awarded a state DOT contract although I am seeing...

    2015 Dodge Charger Police Package

Personal preference but headlights should be a slow and consistent 60FPM for distance warning then shut down once stopped. Tail lights should only do their assigned OEM functions. With the intensity of LEDs nowadays there is little to nothing to be gained once you've installed a lightbar, rear...

Adding Takedown/Wig-Wag in '13 PI Sedan

Yes. I am assuming you're working on an OCPD take home. On our "moose lights", they didn't add a park kill per se they simply made it to where the front flashing of the KC's (now LED off road lights on the 16's) flashed when the siren was on.

    Oklahoma - 911ep surplus?

Odds are against it given how long it's been since they last installed them. With the black cars they transitioned to all slick tops with the exception being the Turnpike cars which had Code 3 packages (different budget, decision makers). Now all cars are getting SoundOff packages with a roof...

I always assumed the blue was there to more easily track it in the dark of night while its in the air while also being more obvious in contrast to all the red.

AZ Highway Patrolman, now State Troopers

Keep it simple. Highway Patrol to the rear, State Trooper on the front fenders like a lot of states do, then in the primary graphics have Arizona Highway Patrol. No need to cover paint just to put something there.

Official "Whacker" or "Screwed Up Install" Thread

At the moment all Troop cars are slick tops and the Turnpike cars have Code 3 TR21 light bars with an amber stick in the back window. Beginning soon, all enforcement vehicles will have SoundOff light bars. On the older black and whites you still see Galaxy's but I give it less than a year...

    WAC bluePRINT Demo- Interceptor Sedan

Given the scenario they had and the abundance of white light I assumed so. We use strobing light to clear buildings so seemed logical as a means to minimize the ability of a suspect to see you and sight you in on a hot stop.

I love the strobing light of the "Emergency Mode" as a means to disorient suspects. But good luck giving commands over the screech.
