I was also under that impression.

To change the pattern on a pair of modules power up only the wire corresponding to that pair of modules and then apply momentary power to the scan-lock wire to change the pattern of the modules powered. Hope this helps. Jeff @ EVS

K9Vic, The Jotto Desk console you have pictured is an earlier model I had a couple like that in some installs I did before and the newer model is short, and is slanted back farther. Jeff @ EVS

I'll side with Sean on this one, sure its easy to crimp a few extra butt connectors, but when you have a product is tested and works great and also one that helps installers get customers the most out of their vehicles, then I am all for it. But hey ... thats just my $.02

My guess would be that the bar in the picture is a 54". The spacer between the end of the 500 series heads and the corners leads me to think so.
