I'm far from a professional installer (I work on my car or close friends) but to me, it seems like he spent more time wiring the lightbar this way than if he had just drilled a hole, sealed it and powered it properly. Just my opinion...

Thanks! It's got the full cable length (seems to be, it's coiled up) and it's only missing 2 clear sections over the take downs. It's got 8 strobes, TD, alleys, rear halogen flashers and rear take downs.

I say go for it. As a happy Microman customer, I already had a Sho-Me flasher floating around the house, so installation was easy. But having the built in flasher and only having to run a power wire would be fantastic.

I've got the SVP LCS-880. I love it. I only slightly screwed myself in it's placement because of a measuring mistake, but I love it. I like the lower tone of the SVP wail, and I got it cheaper than the others so that helped me pick this one.

Anyone get their hands on 'em yet? I'm dyin' to see 'em in action!
