We actually turned down the $856 bid. Just sold it for $1250 privately. It isn't a conventional 12X, itis a12F model and the lenses were in near perfect condition. Just the blue lens in that condition regulalrly sells for almost $600 these days.

They just oscillate and I have 2 different units. 1 that is roof mount and one that is flush mount. Each has different mechanics. As for them being home brews, they definitely are not. I removed the lenses and checked them out thoroughly and they are 110% engineered.

Yes, but the domes look completely different. The NAS dome seems more flat on the top than the MARS dome. Just my opinion.

I have a pair of them out in the shop,one with 2 speaker grills and one in all light configuration. The ones I have though are LOADED with rotators and both are off of Pierce apparatus from the 80's. I will try to gets some pictures of them later.

Just to clarify, I didn't say that this bar flashed from front to rear. It was suggested to me by someone else who has a 6Z bar that this MAY be an explanation. After testing the bar, it does in fact have alternating flashers with a 537 flasher.

It is definitely an NYPD bar. I was told that the 6 may mean that the flashers go from front to back instead of alternating. I will be working on the bar this evening and replacing the amber bulbs with the correct clear ones and will see if the flasher configuration is different. I will let...
