I am looking for a new or newer mfg. used whelen par32 led driving/warning light in blue/ white. This is one that is blue and white leds interweaved in the lin6's and clear lens. i was able to bring it down far enough to where the bulb is mostly centered or a little lower than center but beam still looks centered when on

yes dan. good observation. the dome is smaller in length after i cut the base off so i had to adjust the bulb holder down as far as i could to make everything work. also cut a little off the top of the bulb posts

these are the hi locks i used to make the pins. the ends have allen keys so i tighten collar just enough where it is snug on the dome because it is a cheap one and then use a pair of dikes to snip off the collar nut. here is the red one i did.

i also thought it looked like a mini federal after i made it. it kind of grows on you. i have another one to do and have red and amber domes. the pins i made using hilock fasteners and collars which i had from work. must be done carefully or you can crack the dome.

i know. it came with one of these fluted bulbs and i had another one so i used what i had. thanks for the dome. it looks great.

I think my Federal collection is complete?Just bought and refurbed this model 17. needed a good cleaning, bulb, and new dome. Had to trim the base to make it level. Looks and works great now.

I have a couple of rota beams i am refurbishing but they came with gaskets and no domes. I was having a hard time trying to get domes so thought about what light i could use that would have a similar dome. This was an easy inexpensive solution. Those cheap rotary lights with the 3 color domes...

i saw these lights on a couple of vehicles but wondering who makes surface mount leds with a rotating flash pattern. size looks like a 4x6 or smaller.

The led light on ebay is exactly what i used. Mine cost around $25. and i had the federal parts laying around. Very easy to make. Had to make the plastic base of the led light round though by grinding as it is octagon shape. Once i did that it slipped right into the dome. I have some aluminum...

Put this together with some parts i had laying around. I call it the visiled. It is federal visilite dome and base with a chinese brand 8 led warning beacon. Has multiple flash patterns but i like the rotator.

nevermind all. after playing around with the wiring i got it to work. it is strange though as i had to connect 3 lights orange to controller orange and one follower orange to yellow on controller but it works 2x2 alt.

OK got a new phone and decided to make a newer video (that's not sideways) with all of my lights together.

really dont need another light. i just bought the one i have not to long ago. if i were to buy another one i would probably spend no more than $50. which is probably low.

i did a video earlier with my rotabeams but have since fixed and relamped a few more so i am getting ready to update that one next

i am using a 15amp power supply for the BR but have a couple of the smaller lights hooked up to it as well. i am using a few of the power supplies thatt look like a computèr power supply for some smaller lighhts and my LEDs. they are very cheap and come in different wattage/amps. found on ebay...

Finally put my beacon ray 176 back together and aquired a fireball fb11 so thought it was time to put them together for a family photo and video.

thanks that helps alot. i only have one wire coming out of the bottom plate that would go to the clear bulb so i guess i would need to make a jumper wire to go from one clear to the other clear for positive?
