This project is done. Took far longer than I wanted it to but I guess I am happy with the end product. I should have done the wiring more cleanly (it's fine visually, but kind of a mess at the power blocks) but you don't see that. Maybe in the future I will clean that up. Chris

Ended up getting Feniex Fusion 400 bars for the sides. They are a little bigger than needed but came out decent. Here's a walkaround video. WHelen inner Edge XLP up front, Feniex Fusion 400 on the sides, Strobes n' more E66 in the rear hatch. Chris

Looks good to me! Can you just remove the grill on your Durango? On mine I have to remove the whole front bumper assembly which has deterred me to add anything in the grill for mine :( Chris

Thanks for the reply. You are pretty spot on what what I am looking to do. I was under the impression that the output of the trigger wires were not enough to power a bar, but I could be mistaken. I will ty it out with an Avenger I have to see. Thanks again for the insight. Chris

so the bar is mounted to the opening part of the hatch. I needed the clearance to get stuff in and out when the hatch was open. I ran a loop so it had some slack for the hatch to open then ran that under the top trim piece. Form there I ran it down to the bottom of the trim then across the front...

The baby steps continue as I get time. Inner edge installed but still need to find a solid block of time to wire everything up. That is the one thing that seems to be elusive. I have 30 min here and there but not the time needed to get it done. LOL

How soon do you need it? I'm not sure yet if I am using my Whelen controller or the 4200 Mini I got. If I don't use the 4200 you can have it. But realistically it would be a month or two before I get my install done.to know. Chris

SO I am working on my Durango install. I have 2 Whelen Talon dash lights that I will be using in my side rear windows. They are currently set up with cigarette lighter plugs. I want to hardwire them. When I cut the plugs off, which wire is + and which is -? They don't seem to be color coded...

That stuff is amazing. used it to mount whelen grille lights under the bumper on my Trailblazer. Been on there for 3 years with no issues at all. Chris

A bit off topic, but do you have any other photos of how you mounted the lightbars to the roof rack bars? I do not want to remove my roof rack, but your mount seems like it may work. I know the Trailblazer racks are different, but maybe I can modify it a bit. Thanks! Chris
