    Mod Firebeam Halogen to LED

What is the bulb type, i might be able to suggest a replacement led. But as sparky said, dont expect it to be brighter, but it will be more flexible in light output and current draw.

Replacement halogen headlight bulbs - opinions?

Amen. Wolfman, If what your saying is, the difference in temperature of the bulbs will not make a difference in the projector, then yes you are correct. However if your talking about bases (HB7, 9005, D2S etc) then no, for example, a HB4 will not fit in an HB5 of anything other than an HB4...

Replacement halogen headlight bulbs - opinions?

Better than Silverstars since they dont have a blue coating, thus increasing lumens (light) and a tighter coil, so the light is where you need it and not diffused across the road. PLUS they don't have the ridiculous short life like the silverstars. Highly recommended by everyone on...

    Homemade LED light how-to

Sure, ill take some pictures tommorow. I did use 3 watt Gen III leds on the lightbar. I mounted it on my car today, it CUTS through my factory 35% tint. So much so that at night i will have to dim the lights to make it not blinding.

    Homemade LED light how-to

Here is my Led bar, after a lot of work and patience and a flasher from Changchung, its up and running. Mind you this only cost about $120 and is as bright as a TIR6 Director. And this is an email i sent to a guy to build it. Ok, to start you will need: Either 8 or 16 of these puppies...

Running 12v DC equipment on 120v AC (indoors)

It all depends on the rails of the specific power supply, the wattage is just the sum output of all the rails (+3.3, +5, +12, -12) together. Some 500w power supplys could have more ampacity on the 5v and less on the 12 eg (+5v at 5a/ +35 at 12v) whereas another 500w could have more on the +12...

Running 12v DC equipment on 120v AC (indoors)

Connect both of these 12v "Rails" and you get 38 amps, 2 in parralell you get 75 amps of power!! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817339012 So basically what im saying is go with a computer power supply off of newegg, that is the most inexpensive and least bulky way i know. I...

    Anyone running big A$$ horns?

i had to lengthen a bit, the best way to do it is when the horn is blowing while adjusting. You might have to lower the psi a bit.

    Anyone running big A$$ horns?

Sure, loosen the two screws on the top of the horn, then adjust the bell (when the horn is at the PSI will be normally operating at). At a certain length the horn will start to stutter. Simple as tightening the screws. They wont sound EXACTLY like a 1510 but pretty darn close. Bell lengths...

    Anyone running big A$$ horns?

I am no firefighter but i have two non 1310 Grovers on the bottom of my Explorer, if you adjust the throat of the horn to a certain length it also stutters. No practical applications, i never use it, except for last year at schools at the high school jerks.
