I drilled self taping screws into the front frame support, and mounted it facing foward behind the radiator, sound travelled good through the rad, not perfect, never got plugged full of snow or bugs.

Loooks like the unmarked ran the red light , by viewing other traffic proceeding in the same direction as the marked car. Happens more often that you expect.
