The fleet dealer installed it and I guess they didn’t wire it that way. I will most likely just cut the wire to the lights. It’s way too bright. I didn’t want it in the first place, but now that I got it, I got to make do.

Now that I have one, the controller lights are way too bright at night with no way to dim them! Sucks.

Does it have the same sound if you are running Unitrol wail and tap the horn for momentary yelp and then starts the wail on high again like the older unitrols?

I'm supposed to get one on the driver side only on my new Tahoe. We will see. Local install guys not too impressed.

Yeah. I saw an old LAPD show/documentary with a box body caprice in it with the 480K mounted in the dash like what you are describing.

We liked the looks of the Blade ok. They were great new....but as time went on, they leaked and went bonkers. Parts stopped working. Condensation in the lenses.

We run the 295SLSA6 and sometimes it will match up with a tone but many times it doesn't. With wail, sometimes I just get a solid "BOOOOOOOOOOO" from the Hammer. If this happens, I try another tone and see if it will synch. If not, I just turn the dang thing off because it sounds like sheet...

Chevy put a defective connection on the relay between the 2 batteries and the local dealer supposedly fixed it. I was running lights and siren off of the aux battery which was not getting a charge! Thanks for the input and advice. The shop we use hates to install mirror beams because it takes too long. They stay backed up. I found out today that they inadvertently corrupted my encryption key in my radio. So I got to go back and get that fixed.
