    Firetruck Rear Lighting (Micro Freedom)

So you'd agree that it's not the greatest application of this light? Do you by chance know the cost of these light heads vs say a r416 beacon (I see those online for $500ish)?

    Firetruck Rear Lighting (Micro Freedom)

We're in the process of finalizing specs on a Pierce Saber. As it stands, for rear, upper-level warning Pierce has MCFLED2. I looked through their website and it seems when flush mounting rear upper-level warning is not possible, they always go with a beacon (not that I'm a huge beacon fan). My...

Newer Dash Lights Suction Cup Mount

I was thinking of using tape. I guess it makes sense that the tabs aren't flush with the flash shield since they left room for the suction cups. I could probably use a shim with some double sided tape. Are there any bolts on the side/rear of the heads/frame?

Newer Dash Lights Suction Cup Mount

Does anyone have experience with the new version feniex mounts with the black suction cups on the sides of the dash light? Do they hold up well? Any pictures from the exterior of the vehicle? Are they more or less visible than traditional clear suction cups? Finally, are the current dash lights...

    Motorcycle Blue Lights

I was debating which way to do it while installing. It'd be too much frustration for me to change it now, but I am curious if it'd be more effective. With the new cannons, you can do solid running lights, blinkers, and warning lights. I should have thought of that before hand since I see a lot...

    Motorcycle Blue Lights

Thank you! The big thing with "courtesy lights" is when used properly they shouldn't pose any additional risk for motorists. Given the 2 lane 35-45 mph roads in my districts, the extent of their use is requesting motorists I'm coming up on to pull to the right and stop. Surprisingly enough, even...

    Motorcycle Blue Lights

Here's my 2009 KLX 250 S with some warning lights. Bike isn't used for responses unless I'm already out and about on it and in the area when a call comes in. Feniex Cobra T3 and Cannons Rear integrated tail light for fun After reading the install thread requirements, I'm not sure that this...

    Feniex Cannons Heat Dissipation

Straight from the resident Feniex expert, thanks! I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue - they look awesome in the housing and are quite discreet.

    Feniex Cannons Heat Dissipation

I was planning to mount cannons in my factory turn signals (appx 2" x 3")  http://g02.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1tEQmIXXXXXaRXFXXq6xXFXXXI/Motorcycle-Parts-Front-Rear-Turn-Signals-Blinker-Indicator-Bulb-Light-Lamp-Clear-font-b-KAWASAKI-b.jpg Test fit is done, and I planned on mounting some aluminum...

    Dimming Feniex Cannon

Excellent, I've researched those issues and seem to have the parts for the fixes. I feel bad that my bike is going to have a more intricate wiring job than my truck. Thanks for your help!

    Dimming Feniex Cannon

Also, I just came across a thread that states the 3-mode cannons can not be externally flashed. Do you foresee this being an issue when using a slow-rate electronic blinker flasher?

    Dimming Feniex Cannon

Thanks FEVER. Didn't know if it was directly from feniex, thanks for clarification. Do you mind giving me a quick lesson? For the resistor, you use a 3w one because that is the the power of the lightheaded? So in stepping down, the wattage should stay the same. In theory would a 37 ohm resistor...

    Dimming Feniex Cannon

Didn't know you guys had your own sub-forum here. Copying this over from the lighting section. I purchased two B/A 3-mode cannons to use on my motorcycle. Amber turn signals on mode one and Amber/blue warning on mode two. I'm looking for a way to dim mode 1 and found people selling feniex...

    Dimming Feniex Cannon

So I failed to heed the warning you guys gave me and purchased some B/A cannons for the turn signal of my bike. The good news is the flange is almost exactly the same size as the blinker housing so with a little work it should look pretty clean. The cannons are too bright to be used as turn...

    Feniex Cannons on Motorcycle

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to end up with a purpose built rear brake/turns, but still like the idea of the cannons for the front turn signals. Any input as to compatibility when one color will be wired through a resistor?

    Feniex Cannons on Motorcycle

Thinking of adding cannons when (if) I get a bike. Would it be possible to add a resistor on the blinker color (amber) to keep the bike from getting confused from the lower voltage (stock halogen bulbs), while still getting full brightness out of each color of the cannon?  Also, if the bike...

    Folding Backboard?

While we do have selective spinal immobilization protocols, they are quite broad; I think we're still a ways out from accepting the national trend of less is more. Any negative experiences with your use of folding boards?

    Folding Backboard?

Anyone have any experience/opinions regarding these? We are a first-response agency and the compactness is a great asset. The cons we see are the price, as well as the risk of us not getting them back from the hospital (we don't transport, but have a relationship with our local transporting...

    EMS Charts Analytics

I'm pretty green to ems charts and was hoping to create a special report detailing the times and locations of my agencies calls. Anyone familiar with the procedure for doing this? To complicate things, this is for an on-campus college EMS agency. All of the calls are to the same street...

Cheapest set of [reliable] grill lights?

Thanks for the input. I figures strobesnmore and AWL would be the two best places to look and you guys confirmed that. As far as size of light, Eric, he really isn't much of a light geek and it's only being used in a courtesy light state. I can see two tir3's in the grill being plenty in...

    BMW 328xi coupe Fire/EMS POV

What's the advantage of a wireless remote? With the battery being in the back, where'd you tap power from? How easy was it to run wires through the firewall/remove the headliner? Looks good. I'd just change the pattern on the ILB.

    2007 Chevy Avalanche POV

Looks great, I agree with the above: grill lights in addition to the new light bar would be perfect. Will the avatar be mounted higher than the mini-bar? Only concern is lack of visibility to the rear and sides because of the roof rack.

Lifetime LED Lights Headlight Replacement Bulbs

Are you saying they reflect better? How do they compare to HIDs in terms of illuminating reflective material/eyes of animals? And I'll give it one more shot...Does anyone know what differentiates the fog version of the light from the regular. Is there a reason the fog bulbs don't have a fan? I...
