    Feniex T3

The pair we got are so ungodly bright... it's just as bright as a T-6 to the naked eye, and it's packed into about half the space so it's even more intense.   They're nearly impossible to look at straight on at a close range.   Brightest light that size I've ever seen.   It's amazing.

    Feniex 4x6 pcb sneak peek

Solid color would work better as long as the entire thing flashed at once.  There's no need for pinwheel or ridiculous patterns.    Dual color functionality with integrated white for scene, or amber for 2ndary warning would be a great option especially in the ambulance field.      If you made...

    Feniex T3

In addition to the 3 LED vs 6 LED brightness debate, keep in mind they'll not be available in split or dual colors.  Single colors only.     I think there is an application for either light.    That being said, I can't wait to get my hands on em!

    Green Feniex Cannon

There is your reason why.   If SOOO many people use green, why can't we get rid of our green inventory??

    Feniex Cannon 360 LED Hide-a-way

How wouldn't it be NFPA ? It's an SAE Light in an SAE housing with brighter output?

    Green Feniex Cannon

If I can get committments of 100 units, I can have custom runs built of Green/White or Green.    So.. call the 20,000 Firefighters in Ontario and tell em!

Feniex Storm PRO Siren and Typhoon Speaker

What about the ability to RECORD a tone into the siren, like the voice record feature on the Code3? sirens... where it will record a loop of audio and play it over and over... that way, we could just record our own tones (Ecto, powercall, etc.) plug it into the mic port with a cable off my...

Feniex Storm PRO Siren and Typhoon Speaker

What makes the Federal Electric Q the best sounding is because it actually behaves like a real mechanical Q.   When you hit manual, it manually winds up, just like stepping on the floor button would do in a real mechanical siren.   When you turn it off, it actually has a brake sound.     If you...

Feniex Storm PRO Siren and Typhoon Speaker

The Mechanical option is a big bonus for fire / ems customers that don't want to pay an arm and a leg for an EQ2B. Just a suggestion, have a Mechanical input that would do the automatic windup and down for the mechanical siren... but perhaps an alternative to have it wind up as long as I'm...

    Police Marauder

What I do when customers want patterns that are completely stupid is I set my lights to them on my demo car, drive about a block away, and turn them on..... show them how ineffective they are... then I show them a slow sync'd pattern, and let them decide from there.  Usually it works... but...

    Fire Department Alerting System

The MIDI cable is the easiest way to get those ports available for accessory use.   You can get them at online for dirt cheap. I love this idea... and with the dual color F6 heads you definetly could to a red for fire/blue for ambulance set up since the lights have multiple modes.  If they're...

Newest find! Info on Whelen Flush Mount bar

Those mount to the front or rear of the ambulance box.  Typically very simple to wire up.  The strobes are typically remote heads, and halogen flashers are typically tied in with the vehicle flasher so they all sync.

Feniex Cobra 49'' and Apollo 49'' Lightbar

It sounds like the Avatar will remain in service until they see how the new bars handle in the market.  The Avatar has a place with the larger bars, too as the new bar will only initially be available in a 49" bar.

    Feniex Cannon 360 LED Hide-a-way

Already posted on here in some other threads, but this is the concept.  Additionally the Cannon and the Luminex will come with quick-disconnects between the driver and light head to assist in installation and service.

    Feniex Storm PRO Siren

The best feature that I think they skimmed over fast during the call was the ability for the 4200 to control it with the RJ45 cable rather than tying up outputs on the 4200! Should be shipping by July 1

    2014 Explorer bumper removal.

It's tedious, and there are compression clamps that hold the plastic around the wheel wells... you'll feel like you're about to snap it when they give free.   I highly recommend getting a good set of non-marring plastic body panel puller/plier tools to undo those.  Here's some photos and the...

    Feniex Cannon LED Hide-a-way!

What about offering the lens assembly as an option to the current Cannon.  One that would just slide over the current lights and snap into place or be held by the mounting screws? My guess is they're going this route because it's less expensive to make a single flat board with LED's than...

    2010 Yukon Denali

I have a Blue rocker panel kit with white lights on the ends that I never installed for our demo car.  If he's interested, I'd make you a great deal on it.

    Feniex Cannon LED Hide-a-way!

I like this a whole lot!     I do lots of retrofit work for fire departments replacing strobe tubes with Cannons, and they work great, but having the light shooting straight out makes for a circular light output.  This would help use the existing reflectors on those light heads, plus other OEM...

    2014 Chevy Impala

Since the 2014 is fleet only, does it have any of the pre-ran 9C1 wiring in it? Some have the option for the wigwag and TLF enable in the main wiring bundle. Green/red if I remember correctly. I have a rear window Pegasus that would fit this in blue/white if you're interested, PM me...

What's going on with Feniex lightheads????

It's every company -- not just Feniex -- that battles firmware updates and moisture infiltration... Here's a shot of our 2014 ambulance outfitted with Whelen top to bottom.... Every single light head has some amount of moisture in it. None of them stay synced right... what I see with...

An Upfitter Warning : Civilian Ford Explorer... and my $410 oopsie.

This warning only applies to the CIVILIAN Explorer... if you drill straight down at the rear of the center console storage bin thing... you'll drill right into this. But if you look from the underside, it's not visible, and it's mounted to the underside of that storage bin. On the Interceptor...
