Found this interesting light. AC powered strobe. It is suppose to scare birds away. These are still made and can be purchased. Interesting part is you can buy parts- dome, inserts red/blue and the base. Dome has Mars Signal light company on the top. Website is www.bird-x.com.

My wife got me an early Easter present. It is 12 volts and works. Double flash. Not super bright based on strobe tube being high on the lens. Anyone heard of this company out of Philly PA. SOS Signal Devices? The strobe tube says Lightning Lines,Inc - Motive Suppliers,Inc also out of Philadelphia.
