    Found second alpurlite today

    The new one is the smaller one, I was surprised to see that it was smaller when I set it next to my older one, same amber/red filter inside.

    Restoring domes

    I have 2 Whelen clear strobe domes that are yellowed and faded, is there anyway possible to get these back to new like condition? I’m thinking wet sanding would be hard to do on these,anything that they could soak in or something along the lines of that or are they junk now?

    Flea market find

    $30 at a local flea market, according to a previous post here it’s tow truck beacon light. Do ya think I should put it back in service ??? Would probably be brighter than the code 3 bar I have on it now.

    Fdny rear amber beacons

    Does anyone know what the brand was of the little amber beacons on the outer rears of the trucks Hose bed On the Mack cf trucks , usually there would be a 184 beacon in the middle , looks like Dietz or Signal stat? We’re they halogen or strobe? Thanks.

    Code 3 36” lightbar question

    I know code 3 had a 36” lightbar with the independent rotators but was there ever ones with the par 36 bulbs/ belt driven version made from code 3 ? I’ve seen a few homemade versions out there , or I’m assuming they are homemade, thanks.
