Thanks much for the info.... The lamp modules are actually quite bright! The plan will be a saving/selling/trashing of the various parts, based on "usefulness" - :cool:

I inherited two identical 47=/-" lightbars - I believe they are Tomar. I have come to understand that they can be difficult to i.d. (these have ZERO numbers or letters that I can see). The extrusions look similar to Whelen. Here's some pics, THANKS IN ADVANCE for any input!
I have two [2] Blue w/alley Whelen Ultra Endcaps in decent condition. Both 400 series Alley Light units have tested good. As usual, these could stand to be cleaned up; they aren't perfect. $55/each plus the ride.

The 'original' dome was red! QUITE the fade over the years... but lights up and motor works; I had helped an acquaintance with some vintage Whelen beacons back along, and he called and asked if I would like this ($0). Nice to be thought of...
Now to find a replacement base gasket.
