you could mount a light on the post between the front seats and the rear seats, one on each side, that alternate. You could also get lights in your fog lights. This video shows what I suggested and a little bit more.

Im from Albany county. My chiefs dont really care, as long as we are only using blue facing forwards. I dont want to have a "spaceship" when Im going to a call, just some rear warning maybe additional forward warning, not so sure on that though.

I can only have blue forward facing, not sure about the rest of the NYS laws
