    Positive Positive Dealings with MtnMan

I previously requested the construction of numerous SP Mark VII wiring harnesses from Kent, along with the repair of a Mark VII that wasn't outputting any tones. Most recently, I sent over a non-working PA300 to him for repair as well. He went above and beyond on all requests - the harnesses...

    NYC Vintage Police Car Procession

Not sure if this was posted already, but there was a vintage police car event on Governor's Island, in NYC, a few months ago. I located some video from in on YouTube. Plenty of Signal Stat equipment, among pieces, to go around, haha.

Purchased a red Federal Signal Firebeam dome from dmathieu. I couldn't have asked for the transaction to have gone better.

    Positive Bought Positive From ex416

I purchased an SVP pancake and teardrop light from Ken. He described his items accurately, shipped very quickly and, as always, packed the lights so well that courier services would probably have to remove them from the box and break them in order for them to arrive damaged. Highly recommended!

    Positive Bought Positive From ex416

I purchased a Federal Firebeam from Ken. Communication was excellent, the price was great, and the light arrived quickly. Being that the packing materials used were superb in terms of protection, the light also arrived unscathed. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him again!

    Wanted Red Federal Signal Firebeam

I'm looking for a functional Federal Firebeam with a full red lens. The models with the faster rotating speed or with the selector switch are preferred. (Having the flashback cover and the magnet would be great as well.)

Sireno Mity Lite II (Bulb Specs?)

In order to start out a small lighting collection, I decided to pick this Sireno teardrop up on Ebay. It seems as if it came with an amber dome from the factory according to its model number (0002 vs 0001). That dome must have been swapped with a red one sometime down the line. Is anyone...

Identify This Oregon State Patrol Lightbar

Just as the title says, I'd love it if anyone could shed some light onto just what this lightbar is composed of. The setup is certainly intriguing. [i made a typo in the title; evidently it is Oregon State Police and not Patrol. I also made this a separate thread because I could have sworn...

    NYPD and PA300s?

I recently attended the 2014 New York International Auto Show, where the NYC Police Museum had an exhibit set up. There were a plethora of beautifully restored vintage RMPs that I photographed and caught on video, though when I came across this 1989 Caprice [a tribute car for P.O. Edward Byrne]...

    Can Anyone Identify This Siren?

I was watching older episodes of COPS when I came across this siren. I particularly enjoy how it sounds, but have no idea what it could be. The wail is present throughout the video, and the car that the camera is in starts the yelp at about 0:12...

    SP Mark VII Questions

I've finally summed up the time and courage to enter this board and pose you knowledgeable fellows a few questions in regards to my SP Mark VII siren. :D I've done a bit of reading up on the subject [a big thanks to the fellow who posted the old user manual] and have ascertained the function...

    Greetings from NY

Hello all; I stumbled across this site relatively recently and must commend everyone on forming a wonderful community filled with useful information. I consider myself of a collector of sorts [though an occupation in law enforcement in the future would be great] and currently reside in Queens...
