I want to say there is either no or little improvement, as the 18 diode versions are usually the extended corner type which means a larger reflector housing.

Is the lightbar sagging in the middle?

Is it two mag-mount minibars that you put up at the same time to make it look like a full bar? :) (I saw it on a small town track first response truck, two whelen responders with a wire running through each sides window)

It's like a Justice and a FS Vista had a mutant baby. I hope this isn't replacing the Justice series.

Do you have the surface mount Ions or the Universal ones? If you had two of each, you could put a couple of new holes in the push bar for mounting the side ones using surface mount. Your forward facing ones would have to use the universal bracket type. Also, Whelen does list a bail bracket...

Looking at Whelen's FDIC2017 page, looks like the name has changed to "Proclera."

It may be for the best that I couldn't get a higher detailed picture to spare us the horror. It appeared to have been a single bar at one point, but something landed on top, crushing it in two places and horribly disfiguring it.

As a Whelen FanBoy(tm), LINZ6's are the WORST for half-burning out. I managed to get my shop to switch away from LINZ6's to Ions about a year ago and have not had any problems like the LINZ6's did. Good lucking truck, interesting idea with the Dominator on the tailgate like that.

Came across this while doing some vertex research. I believe these to be a Woodway product, as I can't find anything about them elsewhere. These look pretty nifty! Reminds me of the window-mount Tomar RECT-series shrouds...
