Wheel well lights... why. why. why. why. Stupid idea. Waste of money. Ill take the lights off their hands. Tailgate mounted bar was dumb too. Should have mounted the Rear bar on a back rack or done something like two E6 or similar lights on a back rack and not four under the tailgate.

Love the install. Why wouldnt they put no modules in the rear of the light bar, and invest that money into an arrow stick for the rear window. The rear of the bar won't be seen by almost anyone it seems, so the savings from no light heads in the rear could get the arrow bar for a more effective...

You can buy kits for underglow, engine compartment, wheel well, and interior lighting that goes with the music or to a set color changing pattern/single color off of amazon for $30-150 depending on the kit. This guy took trying to show off for the ladies to a whole new level. :crazy: :nono...

You said your mount folds back? is it the Back Rack minibar mount that does that? Maybe its something to do with the hinge on it having some space for air?

I have a Mini bar on a standard back rack mount on my truck with no issues. I do however notice that the airflow over the cab changed and now i get light snow buildup in a triangle under the middle of the bar down the rear window. Not sure if that will help you solve the problem or figure out...

I hate having to clear my lights... damn LEDS. Speaking of which my town decided to run Code 3 with 6 inches of snow frozen to their Ford Utilities light bar this winter. You couldn't tell the lights were on until they were next to you.

As the videos above said, the whole point of them adding the lights were to stand out since people had gotten used to seeing all amber. I think its neat and was looking at doing it to some of our trucks here for snowplowing. Glad to hear it works!

In response to John, if you go on amazon Dewalt has a bunch of these cameras. Figured I should post this since Im willing to be a lot of installers have DeWalt drills or similar that they use. And the DeWalt one has a viewing screen that can be used wirelessly. :thumbsup:
