Hello all! I’d like to get some more dark blue lights in my collection. Any Euro blue lights, lenses or domes you might have for sale, please let me know.
So, I ordered a set of all clear Aero domes (5 sections per side). I know people have been saying the end is near for quite a while now. My salesman is 20 minutes from University Park and has been in the business over 30 years. He's saying production will probably be done very soon as it takes...
Dual motors plus Constable Police Equipment upfit equals big win. It was only an hour away from home and the price was reasonable. I'm wondering about the end cap. Not so sure it's original to the bar.
Hello, all! I'm looking for the amber/blue rear deck Coplite. I'd also like the single steady red Coplite for the front window. Square or round doesn't matter for the front. Thanks!
When did LAPD stop using Grote type lights and switch to Coplite for detective, CRASH, etc cars? Then how long did they use Coplite until switching to LED's?
I'm looking for a red/blue Cal spec dash or visor light. I'm open to options. All LED, dual halogen or strobe/halogen. Let me know what ya got, how much and pics will help in the decision making. Thanks!
What would be the correct lighting on a late 80's early 90's LAPD CRASH, unmarked or detective unit? The front and rear interior warning lights. Thanks!
So, on a whim, I did a check of the local Craigslist and looked up lights for sale. I find an ad from two days ago and the guy is 20 miles from me. I guess it's my lucky day. I got a Fed Sig amber model 100..... Oh, and this thing too (package deal, he wouldn't separate)....
Mardi Gras is coming soon. I figured I'd get in the season with a mini jet. Now I've got to see what other lights I can throw some purple, yellow and green on.
I found two more JBR's on Craigslist and struck a decent deal for them. Clear plastic dome with red/clear fresnel lenses. The second is a blue plastic dome with base painted green. There is a property tag attached for Michigan Conservation Police. The guy said they regularly painted the bases of...
To the FedSig collection. A Fireball 2, a pair of BR2S lights and a tag for the Super Beacon Ray. The guy I bought the SBR from found it and some other parts. I know, it's just a paper tag, but it's original and kinda cool to have with the beacon.
A few months ago, I purchased green and blue domes for a Beacon Ray. Does FedSig still make purple for this? I swear I saw a purple beacon in the industrial line. I'd like one if the price is right. Thanks!
So I started shelving and displaying...
Top shelf has a Super Beacon Ray, Flash Ball and faded blue Cycle Signal. Next down there's a blue Meteor TCL with spare red lens and behind the red Vitalite is a green Vitalite that needs plexus. Third shelf down there's a green Magnabeam and a homebrew...
Chicago Police Deputy Super. badge. This badge is obsolete and no longer used due to rank no longer existing and badge style slightly changed. Perfectly legal to have when displayed in a collection or used in a theatrical production. Please respect the law and don't use in any other manner. $200...
Just kidding! FedSig firebeam that lights up, but doesn't spin (so it's sorta Cal spec :p). It has a flash shield (not shown). Trying to clear out the basement. Just for the price of parts (dome, bulb, flash shield), I was thinking $15 shipped conus. Paypal or USPS money order.
Responder split dome, works fine, looks like originally blue, clear. Someone went and put red paint into the clear half. Looking for $45 shipped conus. Paypal or USPS money order.
Fireball- Not too pretty to look at, but it works. Also has flashback shield (not shown). Dome is a FS F-7. Looking for $45 shipped conus. Paypal or USPS money order.
