The "New and Improved" Joe Dorgan, as he stated in the SPAAMFFA Silver Trumpet Newsletter, doesn't seem to have changes his ways. He has not paid anything since being court ordered to pay restitution for a hot check at his trial in October 2016.

The court found him guilty of writing a hot check. I'm now promised $50 a month for the next 36 months.

Today is his court date with me. He's already got it postponed 3 other times. You should be able to catch him in the courtroom if he doesn't have another failure to appear.

He has now had 4 extensions, two of which he failed to show up. No lawyers seem to be involved. Why he isn't in jail is beyond belief. The $50 current balance is for failure to appear and warrant charges.

If he wrote you a hot check, you can file criminal charges (felony depending on amount) with the Pima County District Attorney. I have yet to files charges against him for non-payment on another sale. It likely will be filed in civil court.

Next court appearance, if he doesn't get another delay, will be Oct 3rd at 11:00 AM.
