Right on! The plate steel can handle the weight if you decide to use only two of the four brackets, so you could easily omit the two outer brackets and use the center two.

You guys will like this. At one of the local Surplus stores, they have a couple pallets full of lightbars of the country sheriff's office; Streethawks and Vistas. They've had these things for years. Whoever staked the pallets decided to stack some upside down. Look how much water is in them....

Definitely. The strobes are heavily ND gelled beneath the purple gel to reduce their light output.
