    Standby AB lightbars?

Standby have shared frames etc. with Soundoff in exchange for L.E.D modules and such. Many Standby W lightbars share the same modules as Soundoff. Soundoff Apex seems to be the same lightbar.

North American Signal 200 series (Simarud Electronic SE-312)

Hi there. I have a NOS beacon from Norwegian emergency vehicle supplier Simarud. Their model name for the beacon is SE-312. They were rebranded North American signal 212 series. What makes it special is that it has the 300 series light setup, with three seal beams. Does anyone know if the 212...

    Signal Stat model 312 W3-80

I have used WD40 on my Federal Signal Model 14's, my Streethawk, my NASIG 312 and now on my Signal Stat. I agree with what you say; it has to be re-applied frequently as it is liquid based. But in my opinion, it works great.

Then it looks like they must have done it on more than just my beacon. Have a look at this one currently listed at Ebay:

    Signal Stat model 312 W3-80

Hi there! I have got myself an old Signal Stat model 312 beacon. It is NOS, so it has barely been used. When firing it up, I can hear a type of grinding noise on the gears. Therefore, I suspect that the lube has dried out. Does anyone here know how to open up and lubricate the gears on this...

    Federal Signal Model 044

Hello again. I have now tried two Tridon EL13A-1 flashers on the beacon. The first one lit up and the beacon alternated approximately 10 times. I disconnected the power and when I hooked up the power source again, nothing happened. I thought that the relay died, so I purchased a new one. I wired...

    Federal Signal Model 044

So you would recommend me buying a new 537 or another flasher? If so, what kind of flasher?
  18. E

    Federal Signal Model 044

    I replaced the flasher with a Wagner Flasher 537 H.D. 12V. It had a 537 flasher from before. I used a 60 amp car battery 12 volts.

    Federal Signal Model 044

Hi. I have one of those myself. I have replaced the flasher as the old one was broken, but the new one does not want to initiate the flashing, so the bulbs are just solid. Do you happen to know what I may have done wrong?
