Afternoon all

So I got a new '14 Ram 1500 that I want to put my Whelen PAP112 into. I popped the hood and was poking around to find the OEM horns that I can tie into for my SPDT switch to make the transfer. For the life of me I can not find them. There is a lot of plastic and coverings in there.

Does anyone have knowledge of where they are? How about in the cab? What color and location is the wire from the steering wheel?

I searched the forum here but could not find any helpful threads yet.

Thank you

Try pulling the drivers side wheel liner and look on the inside of the fender towards the door. Dodge puts them there on most of there trucks, at least diesels they do.

Thank you. Will check that out in the am. I was looking everywhere in front of the tire. Didn't think they would put it that far back. Thanks again

You can get the horn trigger inside the vehicle at the BCM under the driver dash, in a black 24 pin plug (A), pin 23. The wire is dark green/white (positive trigger).

Hmmmmmm. Will look into this. I need a positive trigger and inside the cab would be beneficial. Thanks for the info

Yea. I have used a relay in previous install. I was hoping this one would be a simple "plug and play" and not needing extras. Thanks
