It seems that our police motorcycle has different light manufactures. A mix of Federal Signal and Whelen strobes . Does this mean we will need 2 different power supply makers? Or can we use just one,Federal Signal or Whelen strobe control unit? Thanks, Robatlantic pd 2.jpg

You can use one strobe power supply for both as long as the pins going into the strobes and the power supply are correctly pinned.

Strobe wire colors are consistent between manfs, but Federal uses red-white-black pinning, white the rest of the world is red-black-white. Pin swapping is easy if you have the right tool.

On the other hand, you can get used FS strobe supplies for about $10, so running separate supplies just might be the path of least resistance (pun intended).
