Okay- so I've been asked to put my rides up that I have blinkied out.... I was going to put them all in one thread, but decided not to just in case someone was looking for ideas.

This thread is on my Suburban.

Very nice! The lights up in the luggage rack bars look awesome. Can't imagine they were all that easy to get in there.

No changes are to be made to this truck- it's long gone! :D The installation on the luggage rack was a big pain- disassembling the rack- bring the lines through- sealing them properly- it was a pain. But to be honest- the hardest part of this whole install was putting the lights on the mirrors. With the heated power mirrors (they also had power tilt in-meaning the whole mirror would come in)- I only was able to bring two lines in- so I borrowed the ground off of the heating board & one of the motor boards.

I miss my suburban- it NEVER got stuck- during one of our ice storms I can't tell you how many times I pulled ambulances out/unstuck them, pulled a couple of squads, and even pulled an engine with it during one of the snow blasts.

thats alot of lights, looks good. But those TIR3's look look brighter in the front than whatever PAR36 lights those are (who are they made by?)

Do you find that the bar sitting on the luggage rack and as far back as it is works well? (If this was an install for someone else, disregard that.)

I have an '06 Suburban Z71 with that same God awful luggage rack on it and have been pondering what to do with it....meaning should I remove it or work around it. Suggestions?

Overall, not a bad looking ride though.

Thanks

Overall- it was a bitch to install- but did a fine job. If there hadn't been a sunroof- I would have just put it in the normal spot.

looks good! only thing i personally am not a fan of are round par36 LEDs installed when they're not mounted in the fog housings (i guess i just dont like the rounded flash). but, like i said, i think the truck overall looks good. ;)
