This is my daily rider - 2003 Ford F350.

Has:

4" lift

Nova Bull 3 light dashlight something or other. RCR w/ one red steady burn.

Whelen D8P behind grill. CRRRRRRC - random flash patterns

(6) TIR3's rear facing in the gap between the bottom of the tail gate and the top of the bumper - all red.

(2) LINZ6's on rear license plate bracket - amber.

(2) LINZ6's - one on each side below the passenger doors mounted to the body.

(2) Unity spotlights

(1) Whelen 100W speaker

(1) Whelen WS224 siren

(1) Federal Signal SW300 switch box

Am looking at getting a new front bumper so I will do something different with the siren speaker then.

And like the old board, the pictures do not link right with photobucket. I do not have the patience to try and fix it, so you see whatever you see.

Edit - it seems to have corrected itself. Time will tell.

I couldn't find a thread to add to in this topic, so my pics may have been on the old board. At any rate, 2003 F350 that I recently put a few updates into.

4" suspension lift

Nova triple bull LED dash light - RCR

Whelen Dominator - CRRRRRRRC

4 double TIR3's - R/R to the sides, CC at 45 deg. angles.

Wig Wag

6 TIR3's in rear gap under tailgate - RRRRRR

2 LINZ6's at rear license plate - AA

2 LINZ6's under rear passenger door - RR

2 Unity Spots

Really like the TIR3's on the grill guard!

Nice, what is it used for (FD, LEO?). I agree that you should a bigger set of knobby tires for an even sharper look.

Used for volunteer fire department response.

As far as the bigger tires go, I agree. However when I do it, I am going to go to 19.5" or 22" wheels so I have more tire options. Right now, I don't have an extra $5000 laying around to do it.

If you would really, really like to see it though, send payments through Paypal to:

+1. i'm guessing VFD (since red isn't a something you see very often w/ LEO) and that the unity lights are for work scene lighting and not for takedown-purposes on V&T's, but then again i could be wrong.

looks like a bad-a$$ truck though

Yeah, here you go hawk. I used inverted U-bolts. The only problem was that 1 3/4" u-bolts were a lil too small and these 2" u-bolts are really a tad too big. At any rate, I painted them to match the grill guard and snugged up the bolts. Pretty easy. Doesn;t look so great in the close-ups, but it is not nearly as noticeable that it is not perfect on the truck.

For me it was better than trying to drill into the round tubing or mounting it somewhere else.

Also, the threads were a good bit taller. After tightening it up I chopped the bolts with a dremel tool.

 WOW! Nice U.A.V. ;) , great lighting package.

Love the grille guard/winch/front bumper!!

(any chance you have a video?)

You couldn't find a better spot for the D8. I would sync all the lights and add something up high to the rear. Other than that it looks awesome.

Nice job, too bad it's a Ford....lol

This has to be my favorite truck on the site right now. Looks amazing.

Thanks Dan. Have you seen my other "project"? Here it is this morning politicing for a FF friendly candidate?

Definitely my favorite truck on the site. Yes I'm a ford guy but this truck is cool. It would be better if you would move the dash light behind the mirror IMO, but still a good looking truck.

Your truck looks great. I would just move the Bull dash light up above or just below the RVM. This would give you a little more height to your warning and another level of it. Also, I think the dash light gets long in the mix, especially with the D8+ running. I also agree with others in syncing your lights in the rear and in getting something to mount up higher in the rear window. That would do just like the front and give you another level to your warning and make your truck visible at a greater distance. It doesn't have to be anything big or fancy in the rear glass just something like an XP63 or Ghost from Sound Off would work, or if you wanted to stick with mostly Whelen you could do some TIR6s/Super Slimlighter or some single Talons/Avengers.

I'll experiment and see if I can move the dashlight up. It's been awhile since I have really looked at it. I orginally did not place it up high due to the factory ford graphics on the interior of the winshield. I have since had the windshield replaced with an aftermarket glass and it may be possible.

As far as the rear goes, personally I prefer the non synchronized look better. I may add some light up high in the future. My last truck had TIR3's mounted on each side of the cab mounted rear brake/cargo light.

Thanks for the replies so far.
