I actually like your truck. Most pilot cars I have seen look like utter crap. Nice to see a clean professional one for a change. I also like the fact that you have wigwags. I know a lot of jurisdictions might frown on them but here in WA pilot cars spend a lot of time in opposing lanes so it makes it easier to see the vehicle.

I love the fact that you put leds in your car because normally you just see a lot of crap stuff and also nice to see some good branded equipment on your car and the inside looks great too. Great Job over all.

Thanks for the compliments guys....I see those POS escort vehicles all the time.I dont believe in using junk because whats the use of even installing it,no one can see it anyhow. In any case I finished up the install today, got the Led3s in....and what a bitch they were....i forgot how to set them so that they would alternate....guess I should have read the instuctions...lol.Here are some pics of my other trucks from the past....

I think being a pilot driver would be a great gig for me when I retire. Although that's a ways off.

Anyway, nice rides. What happened to the GMC? How many miles do you put on a year?

The GMC had almost 80000 miles on it in about 9 months, another pilot driver wanted it so I sold it to him for the payoff. The norm is 100000 miles a year.Although the GMC was a great truck I find that I like a compact truck to escort with...It will fit into some tight spaces.

loved the sierra best, but nice, clean install on the equator...i agree that a lot of the escort vehicles i run into are P.O.S. installs (with some tiny illegible magnets, that identify them as escort vehicles, on the sides)

With all those miles a year, why not go for diesel? They stand up better than gas with high milage.

I was about to ask the same thing! LOL

Jeep used to make a Liberty Diesel. I love them, but that might be a bit too small for escort use. The Grand Cherokee diesel offering is God-awful expensive. There's really not that much left in passenger vehicle diesels due to stupid EPA ratings.

Not mine, and abit OTT compared to most. Here we're only permitted to have a pair of rotators either side of a roof mounted oversize sign, in travel mode on the van. The owner says he only uses the rear lightbar when doing rear escorts of REALLY big loads, or when stopped on the side of the road behind the load since you can't see the front rotators. He does some long distance runs hence all the radios and lights. The positive is it's actually pretty well put together, he's seen a few pilot vehicles burn to the ground over the years!
