I see you have a "12 Volt", and an "Ignition" fuse panel... How are you running that large of a main power to thie Ignition side...? Relay or something else...?

Triton-

I just tie the 3 20 amp ignition feeds out of the police power harness together and feed my fuse block with them.

Ah, so it's something thats already there... It would be nice if all cars had a couple of those floating around... LOL

Yeah, it's already there. I typically use a relay fed off off of my +12 fuse panel and triggered by an ignition circuit. I do install a 50 amp circuit breaker to protect the +12 and ignition circuits in the police power harness which is significantly lower than the 120 amps they are rated for which helps cover my butt with the tying together of each set of the 3- 20 amp wires.

I think a Go Rhino PB would look better, as well as a little bit more of an angle on the farthest out LINZ6's. Plus, I would prefer a newer radar like a Golden Eagle SD or Gen 2.

Nit picking over, that is a beautiful car. I love the lights on the side of the cage and all the install pics.

I love the car, but that push bumper makes the car look like it has one of those old braces harness that you had to wear at night.

Awesome... And is this garage your workshop ?

Just for my information, and don't answer if you deem it innappropriate, but how many hours did you roughly spend on that car from start to finish ?

Kind of embarrassing, but the garage is my current workshop. I have plans of building a 40x60 building on my property this summer that will be a proper shop with a hoist, 12 or 14 foot side wall and much more....

I put about 30 hours in this car. Pretty slow for me, I have larger fleets of chargers that I do in 16 hours since they are all the same and I have done many of them. They have much less lighting also. This was the first time I have installed this bumper which took me way longer than it will next time.

Not embarassement meant. You gotta start somewhere and frankly, it looks like a pretty neat work area to me !

16 hours... jeez, would be more like 16 days for me ! Great work, best of luck to you Jared,

Keep'em coming !

The only suggestion i have is to find a way to angle the LED on the cage/partition down some, it's pointing up at a pretty severe angle.

I thought about this toward the end of the build and never got back to it since I already had more labor $$ into it than customer had hoped.

Looks nice through.... good install.

Great install. A+

What are you using to seal the lightbar cables, and does it come in other colors?

I usually use silicone, but this one is an experiment with 3M Strip Caulk. I'm not sure if it comes in other colors, but I doubt it since it is paintable. The reason I have experimented with this is that it removes cleanly when silicone is a pain to remove. The downfall to the strip caulk is that it never sets up so if it gets disturbed it has to be molded back into shape. So far on the test vehicles I haven't had any complaints.

Awsome job!! I have a question though, im getting ready to install a siren, 7 port switchbox, ham radio, EMS radio into my car and i know how to install everything, but my questions is this: I have a cheap pair of crimpers right now for the crimp on female disconnects for the fuse panels, what would you recommend to use? or what are you using? once again..excellent job :)
