Yea. Mine is totally redneck timing and testing. My truck is stock. So maybe I would add another second to my original post. At any rate, it's faster than the taco truck! I know I have smoked many fords on the highway before.

But like Tim said. I need to get get a clear, straight, quiet road and test it better.

Well, I got some Goodies in the mail recently...

I got a FedSig SID Splitter for my CN Sticks, so hopefully I can start getting those installed some how...  I'm not even sure if I want to use them anymore...

I also got my Speaker Bracket...  Just have to modify it a little to accept two speakers instead of one...  lol

Plus I got a pair of Blue/Amber Cannon 360 to replace my front turn signals, and a pair of Red Cannon 360s to replace my tail lights... Just waiting on wiring adapters and load equalizers to come for them.

That "SMART CONTROLLER" looks like a knock off.... I know its real it just looks like a Chinese knock off for some reason.

Chinese people always do generic decals on stuff and it kinda looked like a china product lol.

I agree with this 100%. Every time i saw one in a car i thought the same thing, "What junk". The design has no class to it at all. A simple red outline and a font change would do the trick.

I will however say that the overall feel of this new unit is MUCH better than the older SignalMasterSM. It feels more solid and the tactile feedback from the buttons are much better. The button click has a better response, and the slide switch has also been upgraded. So even though it may look worse, (it does), it really isnt.

If i was fedsig, i wouldve moved the SignalMaster indicator up, and put more buttons there. I also would've made them multi colored led back lights that you could program for groups of features (sirens red, flood and scene lighting green, SignalMaster amber, blue for on, etc). But, unfortunately, I'm not FedSig.

Well, now that life has calmed down a little bit (divorce, selling my house, moving back in with my parents, buying a new place and moving again) I got a chance to do some things to the Durango...

Sadly at Thanksgiving I tagged a deer coming home and did about $3K worth of damage. Had the insurance company cut me a check and my Dad and I did the work on it (he works at a body shop). I took this opportunity to start some customizing. So I got a stock Durango R/T grill so my dad could color match it and I could start de-chroming the vehicle.

Repair Process Pics:

While the Durango was in the shop over the weekend I had a couple of back-up rides... lol

So today (about 5 months later) I got to put the new grill is (The repair was done in the winter, so I waited to change it). But while the front end was apart, I installed some more toys... lol

I ran out or time before I could get the Apollos completely wired. I still need to connect the power and ground for the lights and then reprogram my 4200 to run them. The speakers are wired and ran to the rear of my vehicle (where all my equipment is). I'll be installing the FedSig SS2KP this summer so that will be using one speaker. And I think I'll be getting another siren (either a PowerCall remote or a Feniex Storm) for the other speaker. (yes, I know I can't run a siren, and I don't. This is still a quasi demo vehicle to show what can be done. Flame away if you wish, I don't care... lol)

I'm really digging the new look. It's like an R/T Clone. Next up customization wise will be plasti-dipping the chrome on the front bumper, rocker panels, and rook rack rails. Then I'll be "Black Chroming" the mirrors, door handles, and hatch piece (between the tail lights). Plus black out the wheels, either with plasti-dip or the black chrome. Gotta save up to get new wheels... lol

Well I "loosely" installed the FedSig SS2000 Platinum last week. I currently just have the SS head (and my 4200 head) just sitting in the cubby hole under the HVAC controls...

Its "ok" there, but I decided to step up and go for an easier mounting solution...

Gamber Johnson full console to replace my factory full console (Found a sweet deal on ebay for less than 1/2 price)... I just got my faceplates for my 4200, SS2KP, and CDM in the mail today so hopefully on my days off I can get working on it.

I also got some new power distribution blocks...

Overkill at its finest... lol

I'm still waiting on FedSig to send me a replacement part for the one CN stick I have and then I can install them... I'm still not sure where they are going to go... Possibly in the rear side windows or maybe up on the roof near the rear...

Well I'm back... Hopefully for good now... Life sometimes sucks, but ya get through it... lol

Hopefully this week I'll start tearing onto the Durango... Ripping out the factory console, and installing the new one... And changing some lights around...

Just got the Durango back from the shop... Developed a miss in a couple of the cylinders... Ended up being a partially dead cylinder (cylinder #5) Its a common problem with the 5.7s in emergency services apparently... Is caused from excessive idling... After 3 weeks and almost $4,000 later I have it back... New camshaft, lifters, seals, fluid flush, blah blah blah...

Got a little work done on the Durango this past weekend. After about a year of it sitting in my garage, I got my Gamber Johnson console installed. I also reprogrammed my FedSig SS2KP and my Feniex 4200, relabeled both switchboxes, and rewired the 4200. I also got my new power distro blocks installed (so much better than the studs I was using).

Pics of the console install process:

I also made some new reverse lights from some Feniex T-4 Titan heads I had laying around... Each side has 1 Flood and 2 Spot optic heads.

I have these and my "stock" reverse lights (Blue/White Cannon 360s) hooked up to the HLF outputs on my 4200. I have a trigger wire running from my stock reverse socket going to an input in my 4200 to activate them when the Durango is in reverse. I also have control to turn them on when I want, plus they can flash. (Not that I'm going to use them in the flashing capacity, but I'm sure nor everyone will read this and flame me about it anyway, LoL)

The Cannon 360s seem to have a bit of a lag, but I think it makes for a pretty cool flashing effect...

Welcome back boulder!
Console looks really nice in there.

Thanks man!!! I've missed my eLb Community!!! Yeah, it makes it look a lot cleaner. It "feels" a little weird though cause it actually moves the shifter back about 5-6 inches... LoL

I think your reverse lights have finally "jumped the shark" lol but keep up the great work!

I still have some cheaper dual row LED bars that I need to find a home for... I think one of them will be mounted under my hitch and tied into the reverse as well (but not flash) and that will complete my reverse lighting...

That console made for a nice clean install.

Absolutely... I'm really diggin it...
